Words With Friends is Scrabble for your Smartphone. Some of the tiles have different bonus placements and letter-worth, but it’s Scrabble for your Smartphone in all other ways. If you’re into words or you’re just into the game of Scrabble, this game can be addicting.

This app can be found on an iPhone, iPod Touch or an Android phone (as far as I know), and what scores this game extra points is that it has a mode where you can pass your device back and forth with someone for a digital, traditional “table” game. If you have a friend with this app, just type in their screen name and start a game. There’s no time limit and you can play at your will. Feeling adventurous? Start a game with a random person and it’ll match you up with some random player.

FINAL WORD
If you’re a Scrabble junkie or a word nerd, this game/app is right up your alley. Especially if you got friends to play with. But, if you don’t like words, or to think at all, this probably won’t be for you.
